🔒 Chill Bro is an entertainment chatbot. We do not collect or store any sensitive personal information. Your conversations are used only to generate responses and are never sold to third parties.

Chill Bro ("we", "us", "our") operates a Telugu Tollywood entertainment chatbot accessible via WhatsApp. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you interact with our service at chillbro.in and through our WhatsApp bot.
By using Chill Bro, you agree to the practices described in this policy. This service is provided for entertainment purposes only and is not affiliated with any film production house, studio, or distributor.
2. Data We Collect
When you interact with Chill Bro via WhatsApp, we may process the following limited data:
- WhatsApp phone number — to route your message to our bot and deliver a response.
- Message content — the text or voice messages you send, used solely to generate a relevant response in real time.
- Language preference — detected from your messages to personalise the language register of responses.
- Timestamp — date and time of your message, used to manage session continuity.
We do not require you to create an account, provide your name, or submit any forms to use this service.
3. Data We Do NOT Collect
Chill Bro explicitly does not collect, store, or process:
- Full name, address, or government-issued ID
- Financial information or payment card data
- Health or medical information
- Passwords or authentication credentials
- Location data or device identifiers
- Social media profiles or browsing history
- Any content from WhatsApp conversations outside our bot
4. How We Use Your Data
We use the limited data described above for the following purposes only:
- To generate and deliver a relevant, personalised response to your message.
- To maintain session continuity within an active conversation (up to 24 hours per WhatsApp session).
- To improve the quality of bot responses over time using anonymised, aggregated usage patterns.
- To send approved WhatsApp template messages such as daily Tollywood updates, only where you have opted in.
We do not use your data for advertising profiling, credit scoring, or any automated decision-making that affects your rights.
5. Third-Party Services
To operate Chill Bro, we use the following third-party services. Each is governed by its own privacy policy:
- Meta / WhatsApp Business API — message delivery infrastructure. Subject to Meta's Privacy Policy.
- Google Gemini API — AI language model used to generate responses. Message content is sent to Google's API for processing. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
- Tavily / Serper — web search service used to retrieve current Tollywood news. Only your query intent (not your phone number) is sent to this service.
- Railway / Render — cloud hosting provider for our backend. Subject to their respective data processing agreements.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for marketing purposes, under any circumstances.
6. Data Retention
We retain message data only as long as necessary to deliver the service:
- Active session data — held in memory for up to 24 hours and automatically purged when the WhatsApp session expires.
- Anonymised usage logs — retained for up to 90 days for service improvement purposes, containing no personally identifiable information.
- User preferences (e.g. favourite hero/heroine, language register) — retained until you request deletion.
We do not maintain long-term personal conversation archives.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access — request a summary of any data we hold about your phone number.
- Deletion — request deletion of all data associated with your number at any time.
- Opt-out — send "STOP" at any time to stop receiving messages from Chill Bro.
- Correction — request correction of any inaccurate stored preferences.

8. Children's Privacy
Chill Bro is intended for users aged 13 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from children under the age of 13. If you believe a child under 13 has used this service, please contact us immediately at the address below and we will delete the relevant data promptly.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as our service evolves. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will notify active users via a WhatsApp message.
